At Green Paths Education CIC, we embrace the belief that nature has the power to heal, uplift, and bring families closer together. It’s not just about learning in the outdoors—it’s about feeling seen, supported, and connected.

No matter where you are on your journey—whether you’re seeking enriching experiences for your child, an inclusive space to learn and grow, or a nurturing community to rely on—we’re here to walk alongside you. From babies taking their first steps to teenagers discovering their independence, from home-educating families to those accessing funded support, our sessions are woven into the rhythms of the natural world, creating spaces of warmth, belonging, and possibility.

What We Offer for Families

We support families across North Devon and surrounding areas with hands-on, nature-based programmes that encourage confidence, wellbeing, and connection. Our sessions are run by experienced educators, Forest School leaders, and support workers who understand the unique needs of every family.

Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF)

We proudly deliver fully funded HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) projects for eligible families during Easter, Summer, and Winter holidays.

What’s included?

• Free nutritious meals for every child

• Forest School-inspired activities

• Mindfulness, crafts, bushcraft, and outdoor cooking

• Friendly, inclusive environment for SEND and neurodiverse children

• Safe drop-off sessions or stay-and-play options

Funded by the Department for Education for children on free school meals.

Nature Toddlers Group

Our Forest Detectives Toddler sessions are gentle, engaging, and joyful! Designed for under-5s and their grown-ups, we meet weekly in a safe, outdoor setting.

You can expect:

• Seasonal nature play

• Mud kitchens, bug hunts, and sensory exploration

• Songs, stories, and shared snacks by the fire

• Supportive, welcoming atmosphere

Hot drinks for parents and time to connect with other families.

Home Education Sessions

We offer term-time outdoor education for home-educating families seeking enriching and social learning experiences outside the classroom.

Sessions include:

• Forest School skills and outdoor science

• Art, bushcraft, and creative exploration

• Eco-literacy and nature connection

• Peer group development in a safe, supportive environment

Weekly bookings available. Suitable for ages 5–12 (siblings welcome).

Additional Family Support Services

We’re more than an education provider — we're part of your community. Our work extends to:

• Inclusive provision for children with additional needs

• 1:1 family support and signposting for wellbeing services

• Parent & child camping events and family days

• Skill-building workshops (mindfulness, nature crafts, resilience-building)

• Mental health awareness and social-emotional learning through nature
