Green Paths Environmental Education CIC is a non-profit organisation established to unite communities through outdoor activities.

Our Goal
Who are we?
Why being outdoors is so important

Green Paths Environmental Education CIC is a community interest company dedicated to leveraging the great outdoors as a classroom to teach the significance of nature. Being outdoors is inclusive and enhances all aspects of life. Our team comprises educators certified in environmental science, bushcraft, forest schooling, foraging, and mindfulness. We have specialists for SEN, military, and refugee groups, ensuring our sessions are inclusive and provide focused support. We can host you at our locations or visit your educational institution or club. The possibilities with us are limitless.

We unite communities through environmental education by hosting events such as storytelling by the campfire, communal campfire cooking, family-oriented forest and bushcraft sessions, and community-led conservation projects.

Leveraging the environment and the outdoors, our goal is to enlighten individuals about the benefits of spending time outside. We unite communities through a variety of programs including after-school clubs, specialized provisions for SEN children, support for military families, veterans, and active service members, as well as bushcraft lessons, conservation efforts, home education groups, school collaborations, refugee sessions, and community-wide initiatives. Our educational approach encompasses forest school methodologies, bushcraft, environmental science, mindfulness, and an array of outdoor activities, all enhanced by a touch of creativity.

What we offer

Spending time in nature and the great outdoors is of utmost importance for our overall well-being. The serene beauty of nature has a calming effect on our minds and helps us to escape from the stress and hustle of our daily lives. Being surrounded by greenery and fresh air can boost our mood and improve our mental health. Moreover, outdoor activities like hiking, camping, or simply taking a walk in the park, provide an opportunity to exercise and stay physically fit. The sounds of birds chirping, the gentle rustling of leaves, and the warmth of the sun on our skin all contribute to a sense of peace and tranquility. Nature also teaches us valuable lessons about the cycles of life and the interconnectedness of all living beings. So, let's make an effort to spend more time in nature and reap the numerous benefits it offers.

Connecting communities

We offer a variety of programs including after-school clubs, holiday clubs, bushcraft lessons, and forest school sessions suitable for all ages. Our curriculum encompasses environmental science, mindfulness, and conservation. We provide additional support for SEN children and offer specialized sessions for military families, veterans, and refugee projects. Our school group sessions are customisable over a six-week period, and we can even bring the forest experience to your educational institution with our bell tent, the Bluebell Lodge, tailoring sessions to your study topics or interests. Additionally, we are equipped to conduct sessions in your existing forest school area if preferred.
